Chris Hytch, B.Ed. (Hons), DC Hyp., Dip. Past Life Therapy, (SNHS), NCHM has been a practitioner of Past Life Therapy for approximately 20 years ever since experiencing the process himself through the ‘Christos’ method in 1988.
As well as being a qualified Past Life Therapist Chris is also a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist, being a diplomate of the BST Foundation.
He practises in Harley Street, London and at the Renaissance Therapy Centre in Birmingham.
Chris has been featured in national magazines most recently in the July and September 2008 issues of High Spirit magazine.
He has made extensive academic studies of the work of the pioneers of Past Life Regression, including Dr. Helen Wambach, Dr. Roger Woolger Ph.D., Joe Keeton, Dr. Denys Kelsey and, more latterly, Dr. Brian Weiss, Ingrid Vallieres, Denise Linn and Sylvia Browne amongst others. He incorporates many tried and tested techniques alongside others he has developed over the years.
In My Own Words:
I feel my whole life has been a process of unfoldment of spiritual understanding, starting at aged 12 when I began seeking out library books on the paranormal such as hauntings, ghosts, Subud and even Theosophy. At 15 I discovered Hatha Yoga which later on in the sixth form I took as a class weekly instead of games! Around the same time I discovered the books of the Yogi Ramacharaka and started practising the Science of Breath.
At 19 I practised Transcendental Meditation for a short period before learning the ancient techniques of meditation from an Indian guru, leading to 2 years in an ashram meditating for 2 hours a day!
Becoming disillusioned with the guru I explored the writings of Lobsang Rampa and again Yogi Ramacharaka, this time practising Raja Yoga.
Returning to the ‘guru’ I became a regional organiser for several years before once again becoming disillusioned with this guru and all gurus! Call no man master!
Following this I devoured all the books by Robert Munroe and became involved in a spiritual development group who practised Earth Healing, channelling and astral travelling.
This led on to the ‘Conversations with God’ books, Yogananda, and most recently, the work of Eckhart Tolle.
I have had several ‘peak’ or mystical experiences where the nature of reality has become clear. It has to be experienced to be believed! I endeavour to remain ‘in the now’ as much as possible and continue to meditate whenever I feel the urge!
