|What Does Client Centred Holistic Hypnotherapy involve?
The First Treatment Session.
You will have an initial interview where your issues will be discussed and your medical and general health history will be taken. Then the range of techniques will be briefly explained to you and, with advice from myself, the best options chosen. Then you will be guided into a deeply relaxed state (hypnosis) and a method of unconscious signalling installed. Following this the first investigations will take place either through the process called ‘bridging’ or through regression. Afterwards you will be awakened and may be given a CD to practice relaxation prior to your next treatment session.
This initial session lasts at least 2 hours and costs £45.
Follow-up sessions cost £35 for an hour or more.
Treatments may be completed in 1-2 sessions depending on the condition but can take longer.
Clinical and Brief Strategic Hypnotherapy:
Modern hypnotherapy aims to be a fairly rapid process which, provided there are no repressed symptoms or deep underlying causes, can cure a wide range of anxiety related or psychosomatic symptoms in a few sessions.
Utilises the resources of the person’s subconscious to alter unwanted behaviours.
Past Life Therapy:
If a condition is found to have its roots in the events of a past life, then following the initial interview you will be regressed to the original cause of the condition and any subsequent reinforcing events. Then the emotion may be released, physical memories removed and mental attitudes reframed, resulting in the commencement of healing.
Past Life Regression:
Not a therapy as such but for those curious to discover their past lives.
In this process you will be assisted in recovering forgotten or repressed memories from your early life and childhood. These events will then be ‘reframed’ or reinterpreted to allow the healing process to commence.
Future Life Progression:
A technique which helps with decision making. You are able to view probable future scenarios based on different choices.
Direct Soul Communion:
Is a new technique whereby you are able to commune with the deepest part of yourself and receive answers to your deepest questions.
NB: The therapeutic techniques may involve the release of supressed emotions, (abreaction), the release of somatic, (physical) imprints, the ‘reframing’ of events to give them new meaning, the use of self-hypnosis, use of affirmations, reparenting, future orientation, Gestalt techniques and psychodrama.
Afterwards you will be given time to assimilate your experiences and discuss them with your therapist.
Recordings can be made if requested.
